Sims Dental has recently installed a digital X-ray system which will benefit our patients in a number of ways:

• X-ray exposure is reduced – We are all concerned about radiation and our total dose. Digital x-rays require up to ¾ less radiation than conventional films.
• Excellent image quality – Digital x-rays give a clearer image that can be enhanced in the computer, this aids diagnosis and treatment planning.
• High speed processing – We can be looking at the x-ray within 60 seconds rather than having to wait over 5 minutes.
• Cost – Best of all digital x-rays provide all these advantages without costing any more than conventional ones
